Recent Finds

 I found an old Perry Como record album at a mill that sells antiques!  I was so psyched I forgot to actually check the inside for the records (my blog title is named after one of his songs).  I bought four for the lovely price for 25 cents!  None of them were Perry Como.  

 I also picked up some more patterns at the D.I.  I am growing my collection very quickly.  I really want to make this dress with a pink-y, floral-y fabric.

 I want to make the blue plaid shirt.  Just like it is on here.

I found a new place by word of mouth and the owner is so nice!  She even showed me her stash of vintage clothes she didn't keep on display.

Check out what I bought!  I need to fix a couple rips in the seams of the dress then it is good to go!

 I think this is the coolest vintage jacket I have bought.  The best part?  It is homemade!  Gets me every time.

Recent Finds

I went to the D.I. and found some pretty fun sewing patterns!  My sewing skills are not superb yet, but with five sewing classes this year in school I hope to improve dramatically!  Sewing Patterns are another of my many collections.

 Whoever owned this before me must have thought the girl in the middle needed bigger ahem "girls".

And I found a psychology book for $2.  Since I transferred out of the class in school I decided to just learn on my own.  It actually is a very interesting subject to me, the class was just too hard for me to keep up with.

Recent Finds

 Guess who went thrifting finally!?  This girl!  I am so excited to share these fabulous finds and hope you love them as much as I do!  I bought six dresses.  The first five are all 1940s-50s.  The best part?  They all came with matching belts that fit my waist!  Excellent!

 This is one of my favorite dresses!  I already have dreams of wearing this dress to a picnic.

 This is my mom's favorite dress.  It is completely sheer so I will have to wear my white slip under it until I can come across a navy one.  I absolutely adore how it ties around the neck!

It is frustrating to look at the picture of these pants.  They just don't come out like they look in person... These pants in person really are closer to a bright light green and they are high-waisted.

Recent Finds

 Yesterday my mom, sister and I went to Savers!  For me, school shopping gets done slowly throughout the summer so it is never too early to start!

 Unfortunately, there wasn't a lot.  There was hardly any vintage which is what I go for.

 I love my vintage new skirt!  This was the only vintage skirt I found.

 Lovely vintage shoes!  I am so happy I ran into these because Harley just ate the big flower off of my other black flats.  Good dog.

 I love this jacket!  It isn't vintage but the colors are so fun!  Harley's tail was in the picture and I had no idea until I uploaded the picture.  Please excuse her.

 Here are some black shorts.  I have some already, but  I wanted longer ones.

And finally, True Religion jeans.  Because I do not own any good- fitting jeans and my mom is convinced that I can not run around In skirts shorts and dresses all the time.  Challenge accepted.

Recent Finds

 It has been a while since I have done a recent finds post!  This is the first time I have had money in a while.  I got some pretty cute stuff!

All of the perfume bottles were 25 cents each except for the top!  I bought that one a while back, but hadn't shared it yet.

I was going to buy this for Hot Diggity, but When I tried it on, I loved it too much.  It is all mine.

I will be selling this necklace.  I love how cute and dainty it is.  Perfect for layering!
