 Bon jour!  Today was a blazer, jeans, and t-shirt day.  It felt good-except for the shoes.  My vintage heels left multiple blisters.

What I Wore: 11-5-12

Daylight savings time.  Everyone in my house was walking around the house at 8:30 p.m. exhausted looking for something to do.  I crocheted part of a cowl and cleaned out my room. 

I got this skirt over the weekend in St. George!  My grandpa was nice enough to lend me the money for it since I forgot to cash in my paycheck before we left.  Thank you Grandpa! I will pay you back the next time I see you!

What I Wore: 10-25-12

 It snowed yesterday.  It snowed yesterday.  I just wanted to crawl back into bed and cry.  As usual, Utah has found pleasure of skipping Fall for the most part and throwing me into a winter I do not want.  Can I just hibernate?

What I Wore: 10-24-12

 I made a hat!  It took me only two hours!  Yes!  Today feels like a success.  Next on my list is slippers!  I found a picture I like but the pattern costs money that I don't want to spend.  So I will make it up instead!

My friend told me that it was supposed to snow yesterday.  I am so glad it didn't!  I would love the excuse to start wearing my vintage furs but the cold so soon isn't worth it!

What I Wore: 2-23-12

 Yesterday I got fabric for a 1950s dress pattern!  I am in FCCLA and I plan on competing in the clothing construction section with it!  Am I excited?  YES!  Do you get to see it?  Not for a couple months!

We turned the heater on in our house for the first time this season.  I am not sure how I feel about it.  I am excited to wear warm clothes and wrap myself up in huge blankets while I crochet and drink hot chocolate but... It is cold.

What I Wore: Grandma's Dress And A New Backpack!

 This was my grandma's dress in high school.  I think it is so cool that I can wear the exact same thing she wore at my age!  She gave me this along with a few others she saved with the one rule that I have to wear them to school.  Done and done.

I also made a backpack!  I actually sewed everything in my sewing class last year.  It has just sat in a corner of my room for all of these months because I never bought a drawstring.  I finally got a brain and realized that I could just crochet a chain and call it good.

I took this picture later when I thought you might want to know what the blob on my dress was.  It is a bug!

What I Wore: 10-21-12

 I have had an amazingly productive weekend!  I finished a backpack I sewed months ago and I crocheted myself a hat!  I have also started to finish my crocheted backpack that has been sitting behind my t.v. for months.
