What I Wore: 10-24-12

I made a hat!  It took me only two hours!  Yes!  Today feels like a success.  Next on my list is slippers!  I found a picture I like but the pattern costs money that I don't want to spend.  So I will make it up instead!

My friend told me that it was supposed to snow yesterday.  I am so glad it didn't!  I would love the excuse to start wearing my vintage furs but the cold so soon isn't worth it!

What I Wore: 10-21-12

I have had an amazingly productive weekend!  I finished a backpack I sewed months ago and I crocheted myself a hat!  I have also started to finish my crocheted backpack that has been sitting behind my t.v. for months.

It started to rain while I was taking pictures

What I Wore- 10-18-12

I just wanted to let all of my friends know that I am currently wearing my dress that I just finished in sewing class and am so excited to share it with you!  It is a bit chilly for the weather right now but I really do not care!  I am too happy to be warm.

What I Wore: 10-9-12

I wore this skirt last week.  I love it way too much!  This sweater actually comes with a matching skirt but the elastic in it is completely stretched out so I need to replace it.

Today when I was walking to my first period class I stepped in a puddle and slipped.  And fell.  On a sophomore girl.  I think I scared her.  I know that I should probably be embarrassed but I really don't blush over things like that.  The way my mind processes things like that is more like... She should be thanking me for sending her home with a story to tell her family.

What I Wore: 10-1-12

I have been so excited to do an outfit post with this dress ever since I bought it.  It is just so fit to my personality.  The matching belt and the color and the shape... and everything else about this is so fun!

Sometimes it can be frustrating for people to not understand how into the vintage style I am.  I would rather have a closet full of vintage clothes than trendy clothes. The thing with trends is that they go away pretty fast. Vintage clothes will always be vintage clothes.  Sometimes my mom and I argue about what I should be wearing to school.  I think she might worry about other people thinking I am a bit loony.  That ship sailed a while ago.

What I Wore: 9-30-12

I think this might be the last of my belly shirts for the year.  It sadly isn't summer anymore.  I love them so much so I had to get one last year before fall truly sets in. Has fall set in?

School has been giving me some trouble.  I loved it so much last year but I cannot get into the groove.  A good reason for this is because I am still in the summer mindset.  Waking up and going to classes I don't like (other than my two sewing classes and the occasional good days in AP art) is so hard for me.  Homework is kicking my butt.  I have never been the type to stay up late and sleep in but that honestly is all I want to do.  I look forward to weekends way too much.    I don't know.  School.  Boo.

I cannot wait to graduate and really start my vintage clothing business.  My dream is to buy a vintage 1950s trailer and drive around selling clothes at farmers markets and festivals locally and on road trips.  Once I have enough money saved up I really want to sell out of a store.  And, of course, have sponsors on my blog!

Wow, too many words.  Sorry about all of that.

Sunday's Style: 9-30-12

Today I have spent a good amount of time sketching, and doing embroidery.  I am definitely spending a lot more time on artwork than I have in the past because of my AP art class.  I think it is a good thing except all of my drawings have been pen and ink and line drawings.  That does not exercise a ton of skill I should be focusing on.
