What I Wore 11-10-11

I have started to draw on myself again. At one point, my entire arm would be covered with pretty doodles. I have managed to refrain and keep it to one or two cute things at a time. Not so overwhelming, hehe.

Daylight savings has saved me for outfit pictures. I can finaly take them in the morning again. I hadn't realised just how convinient that was until it was gone! Plus- look at the pretty pink in the sky. Yes, this is ideal.

What I Wore 11-6-11

My favorite posts are always the ones that have Harley in them. She looks like an over-loved teddy bear right now. You know the teddy that you carried around with you when you were little, dropped in the mud, attempted force feeding it, over washed...you get the idea. She needs a haircut. She has knots in her fur. But it gets better. She found her old sweater and had us put it on her. No. Really. She dropped it in my mom's hands and had her put it on. Only problem- it is too small. Her arms are poofing out of them. Its very cute. Have no doubt though- This dog has the cutest face you will ever see with the biggest brown eyes.

What I Wore: To Gardener Village!

Gardener Village is a family tradition during the Halloween season. Lace tights? Not the best idea. It was so cold! turtleneck-Thrifted; Shorts-Forever 21; Tights-Sears; vintage coat-Thrifted; vintage shoes-thrifted; vintage gloves-thrifted; vintage necklaces-thrifted;

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween everyone! I hope everyone is excited as I am! This is the one day of the year where you can go to the store dressed as a giant taco or an adult-sized baby and be complimented on your attire! School was so fun! I would say about half of the kids and teachers dressed up-let me tell you. High school students can get creative!

This was our traditional Halloween Sunday Dinner! We made soup and baked it in a pumpkin! (decorated by me!) We even made a few changes so I could eat it and still be healthy. Thanks Mom!

And then there are the bone rolls. I did not eat these. Im not sure if there is a healthy way to make them.

I am excited to see if I can resist the sugary craze Halloween night seems to bring. Have no fear friends because I am prepared! I have sugar free gum, an apple in the freezer, wheat pretzes, air-pop popcorn, and 25 calorie hot chocolate! I will even allow myself one bite sized candy. Its a holiday- I can't deprive myself, right!?

Good luck to everyone eating healthy, and my best sugary filled wishes to those of you who aren't! Have a great night everyone!

Sunday's Style 10-30-11

This is my first entirely thrifted outfit! I am so happy to have these shoes! They add the finishing vintage touch! An entire vintage outfit? I'm loving it.

I love curls in my hair as much as the next person, but it seems every time I wash it, I have another place to wear my costume to. The costume would never be complete without the hair! So I find myself considering washing my hair early just to have straight hair for a change. One more day to go!

A Photo an Hour

I have seen posts like this all the time so I tried one too! The main idea is I take a picture every hour just showing how I spent my day.

7:12

Breakfast! I love my daily oatmeal!

7:37 What to wear?

8:44

Into the car! We stopped at an estate sale, and it was a total bust...wasnt actually an estate sale. The guy was moving so he was selling the things in his living room and half the things in his kitchen while he was eating breakfast.

9:01

Waiting in line. Oh was it cold!

9:43
This is officially the best estate sale I have ever been to. This woman loved expensive clothes and shoes. Best part? She was my size!

10:36

Back in the car! We headed back to that estate sale. I had to get more!

11:00

Round two!

11:35

It paid going back! well actually I paid- in quarters.

12:04

Wendy's apple pecan salad! Yum!

1:14

I took pictures for my next outfit post. I saw the bee on my way inside.

2:02

Snack time!

3:15
I finaly made room for all of my vintage gloves and scarfs in a drawer!

3:45

I cleaned my room. It needed it bad. I plan on keeping it clean. How many times have I said that?

4:48

I changed my clothes to go to Gardener Village. If you are in Utah during the fall season, seeing their witches is an absolute must!

6:04

Walking around and taking pictures with witches.

Sorry guys, the day ends here for the post. We ate dinner and went to bed after. No interesting pictures to post. ;)
