There were so many birthdays this month, including mine last week! I have been a little busy and a little lazy when it comes to updating. I absolutely hate going so long without blogging, and when I do update, the post always seems to be too long. So, my apologies, and I will try to do better. On the ninteenth(before the dance) I went bowling with my wonderful and amazing friend Lauren for her little sister's birthday party! Happy birthday Emily!

The Ninth Grade Night Dance

Well, this Saturday was the ninth grade night dance, and I could never begin to tell you how fun it was! Since I have kept my readers in the dark on what dress I wore, I feel like it is needed to fill you in.

Over half of the pictures taken were accidental, being that my parents went on picture overload. hehe.

Today I thought I would just share with you guys my latest loves in clothing. I was looking around anyway so I thought I might as well blog it. It is one week from my birthday today, so, like in my title, hint hint to my mother.

Puppy Love

Today my sister found one of the neighbors dogs in front of our house. So we called and kept their dog for about half an hour before they came to pick him up. I got some cute pictures.

I apologise for going MIA on any readers out there. I dont have any excuses except: this weekend I went down to Nevada. I would like to say I returned tan, but I am afraid the best I can say is I returned tan-ner. I did take some pictures, but ne of me, because most of the time I went without makeup, and they are on my mom's camera. Maybe when she loads the pictures on.I just love palm trees! The make me happy!I liked to look at the color and peeling paint.Doesnt that water look good enough to dive into? Well, it wasnt. It was Ice cold! I was proud to get in waist deep.

Shopping!

Yesterday I spent the most part of my day shopping. Not at the mall, not at Target, but at estate sales! We found an amazing find the first try, but the next couple did not bring such luck. The amazing thing is, you get amazing things for amazing prices! We also went to Gardener Village and saw a few of their cute shops, and Decades! I am not sure what it is about Decades that makes me so excited, but it does, and I love it! For the high percent of you that dont know what decades is, it is a store filled to the rim with super old, amazing clothes!

I am sad that I do not have any good pictures, but I will fer sure post pictures soon! I have noticed that I have not had a lot of posts involving outfits, but I hope to fix that!

Hey Grandma...

Today while I was waiting for the bus to pick me up from school, a boy called over to me saying,"hey grandma!" No, this was not one of those accidentally call your teacher 'mom' moments. This was a kid who thought he was going to bother me. On the inside, I was truly laughing very hard, because the boy had no idea that 1) that is the look I was going for(vintage, duh!) and 2) It only means that I have been recognized for my fashion at school. Now, you tell me, what part of that was an insult again?

Today I was oh so excited to wear the first of my grandmas old clothes. The green coat was hers. The skirt was my first buy from savers. The necklace is vintage also.

I am sorry to say that the pictures truly do not do this amazing outfit justice. I was very cold and was eager to get into my lazy pants and blankets. I also accidentally cut out my head. Have I mentioned I am officially a blonde again?

Today is March 1st which means it is time for spring to start kicking in! It also means my birthday is comming up! It also means the ninth grade night dance is comming up too. Which makes me wonder, what should I do for my birthday? I was origionally planning to go shopping at Las Vegas, but that is no longer a choice. I would have a party, but I think it would be a little awkward because I havent had one for around two years. Does anyone have fun birthday ideas?
